Recommended for combination and oily skin, and for skin experiencing breakouts, Simplicité Plant Gel Cleanser is pH balanced.  The formula normalises oil levels and promotes a clear complexion, which facilitates  a fresh appearance.  You’ll find that a combination of cleansing crème and foam cleanser create a mild yet effective cleanser.  Men, too, will discover the consistency to be ideal as a shaving lotion.

Simply apply 2 or 3 pumps to a wet face to form a thin lather.  Massage over the entire face and then wash off.  We recommend that you follow with Toning Lotion and Plant Serum as well as the appropriate moisturiser for your skin type.

Simplicité Plant Gel Cleanser contains a bounty of organic ingredients, each with beneficial qualities:

• Fresh Aloe Vera juice, which is soothing, encourages healing, relieves irritated skin, and calms redness.
• Apricot Kernel extract provides essential nutrients to encourage sustained hydrations.
• Hypercium, more commonly known as St. John’s Wort, calms and soothes redness.  The herb also contains flavonoids found to encourage effective micro–circulations.  With exceptional healing agents that relieve pain and also reduce swelling, St. John’s Wort has centuries-old history in treating skin trauma.  Named after St. John the Baptist (with wort being a medieval word meaning herb), the herb itself sports yellow flowers with five petals.  Yellow is considered the healing herb color.  While prolonged use of St. John’s Wort may cause photosensitivity when used undiluted on the skin or if taken in high therapeutic doses internally, normal cosmetic concentrations are believed to deliver all benefits mentioned without any side-effects.
• Fresh Witch Hazel is a natural cleanser which reduces inflammation and alleviates the swelling of cystic acne.  Its name comes from an Old English word for bend, as the plant was used to make bows.
• Sage is a natural cleanser with capillary toning nutrients that sometimes present an initial vasodilating (dilating of blood vessels) effect.  The herb inhibits bacteria in the treatment of acne and regulates sebum production.  When used in soothing skin washes, it cleanses impurities from the blood and helps reduce dermatitis and eczema.
• Rosemary improves blood flow to the surface of the skin and regulates sebum levels.  Inhibiting the growth of bacteria and enhancing the action of the white blood cells in defending the tissues and cells against infection, the herb promotes healing and treats dermatitis and eczema.  Taking its name from the Latin words Ros Marinus, which means Dew of the Sea, Rosemary is native to the coastal areas of the Mediterranean.
• Equisetum herb, familiarily known as Horsetail, contains natural skin cleansers and also enhances the absorption of nutrients.  Strengthening the walls of small blood vessels, it reduces visible spider veins, which are caused by the migration of red blood cells through weakened blood vessels.
• Carrot revitalises skin tone, restores elasticity, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and improves micro–circulation.  
• Cypress is historically known as the tree of eternal life.  Applications reduce skin swelling as well as visible spider veins because of the toning of weakened blood vessels, which enhances the overall health of the skin through improved circulation.  Noticeable benefits exist for oily skin.  Cypress is used in Tibet as a purifying remedy.
• Fir Tree is considered a warming remedy that improves surface circulation to enhance healing and revitalise the skin’s appearance.  Simplicité uses Siberian Fir trees, as the highest quality extract comes from trees that grow in the coldest parts of Europe.
